I know, a guy is not meant to feel insecure. Perhaps insecurity is the wrong word to describe how I am feeling right now. Maybe someone can enlighten me.

Ever feel like anything you do may cause repercussions - little things like your friend's affection (is that even the correct word?) slowly corroding day by day, with every little action you do, until they finally realize that after all, they hate you? I don't deny - that is one of my greatest fears. Maybe it was caused by things experienced while I was growing up. Come to think of it, it is caused by that incident. Man, wish I was wise like I am *cough*.

Anyways, am I oversensitive? Whenever one of my friends do something - anything - out of the ordinary, or display negative signs of emotions; whether directed or not directed at me, I can't help but have this nagging feeling that it's caused by me. Maybe it's me, maybe it's not. I just can't help but feel that it is caused by me, and I hate this.

Wish people would just say they dislike me outright in my face, at least I won't have to guess. Damned, that previous sentence made me sound so... fragile. Meh, I believe I have more people that like me than people that dislike me, so I should be good. I hope. The English language have a word to describe people like me, (yup you guessed it!) narcissistic!

Because of this, I try to limit what I actually want to do or say, and try to be less of who I am. But no longer, fuck this shit, cause I am who I am (love this phrase). No longer will my actions be governed by what I think are the repercussions, I will do what I want to do; say what I want to say; feel how I want to feel. (Though, a modicum of thought will probably still govern what I do, just not as much.)

PS: Wish I could make this blog private - I know how, but I just can't do it. I like to peek into other people's life happenings, and I like others to peek into mine (weird, I know). That restricts me though, some truly private things just can't be posted here. Goddamned it; am I destined to start a diary?!

hehehe don't think anyone reads this anymore so should be safe to post what i feel like posting. Should make this blog private but damned I can't do it I need to expose myself cause I am narcissistic. That word is an interesting word.

we're gonna shake things up.

So yea, pretty long since I last blogged (does this even count as blogging?!) so I'm going to attempt to type something remotely legible out. Can't sleep anyways, I'm trying EXTREMELY hard to set my body clock back to pre-secondary school times (but to no avail -.-)

So... what's up. I just say I wasted my holidays away because no one wanted to go out with me :( (JC KEEDZ! /hearts (Pretty retarded blogger doesn't allow you to post a less than 3 sign -.-))

Last week of the holidays was awesome though, met up with my beloveds! Wish stuff that happened during the last week was evenly spread out during the holidays though. The only form of human contact during the first few weeks was like only with the coffee shop aunty/uncle LIKE WHAT THE SHIT! (Ok abit exaggeration also got go out... like once per two weeks BUT STILL.)

Last week had BUFFET, CAMP (not that fun because kena alot of shit BUT STILL GOOD ENOUGH!), Pinin's birthday!

And.... school started :(. BSTATS SUCKS I TELL YOU. IT SUCKS SO HARD. IT'S NOT EVEN HARD THE LECTURER IS A BORING LITTLE ENGINEERING DOCTORATE HOLDING LITTLE OLDISH GUY. FFS HE'S ALMOST COMPARABLE TO THE OTHER BORING LITTLE OLD GUY CALLED LAI WOH CHIONG CAN. /endrant. No wonder so many people buang bstats. Too boring already.

Then there's MOB. SERIOUSLY?! WE HAVE TO LEARN ABOUT ORGANISATION BEHAVIOURS?!?!?!!?!? Fair enough, might prove useful... and there's there's....

ONOW. JESUS CHRIST ON THE MOON. THAT IS THE MOST RETARDED MODULE EVER. I HOPE I MEET SOME AMAZING PEOPLE THAT DON'T DIE AFTER WE VISIT THEM MAKING ME EMO FOR A WEEK. I HATE THESE THINGS HAPPENING SERIOUSLY. /endrant again.

EPIC HAPPENINGS THIS WEEK. STARTING FROM WEDNESDAY.

Anyways, FoM presentation was OVER. O-V-E-R. Like damned shiok, but yea, now have DBE and BC -.-.

Anyways, after FoM presentation, Jer and Bran (omg lazy type full name la, yet I lazy enough to type this long thing LOL) and HQ and I was supposed to watch movie. So I go home first take my skates. Then come to Cineleisure meet them liow then they say OMG WE NOT WATCHING EARLY ONE LEH ALL EARLY ONES SOLD OUT. Then I was like OMGWTFBBQ DID I BRING MY SKATES FOR. AH WELL CAN LOOK COOL. LOL.

So yea, thank god for iPhone can check timing one. So we found out that Tiong Bahru got one 8.45 slot for Inception. So we stone and talk about what guys usually talk about (HAHA MEL YOU KNOW WHAT GUYS TALK ABOUT!) and suddenly….

Bran: Jeremy. You Indian right? Can take spicy food right? COME EAT THIS! -hands Jer crabmeat stuffed with chili padi-

Jer: What’s inside? -looks in the crabmeat- Chehhhh, chili padi nia.

Bran: Eat la, I thought you Indian?

Then convo started again, bla bla bla guy talk bla bla bla, then suddenly Jeremy picked up the crabmeat and ate it. Everyone stun. Then he was like okay okay, then talk halfway about his religion he suddenly cry. And blush. And ran to drink stall to buy mineral water. The rest of the guys ALL LAUGHING LIKE THEIR BALLS FELL OUT.

Damned funny, seriously. Anyways, so time just nice go watch Inception lor. Very nice movie, not as nice as She’s Out Of My League. SOOML best movie ever I swear. Hahah.

So next day… Jeremy didn’t come to school. He diarrhea. HAHAHAHA. So after school… nothing do again. So went to watch Inception with the girls…. AGAIN.

Like that lor, girls say not nice, average only. Shuting even fall asleep in the movie sia!

Then Friday came… was prepared to go skates. Was ALREADY skating liow. Then got some ppl tell me come N2D thingy in Xinmin. So I went LOL. Then tio chased out at like 10.30 or something. I forgot. WHICH SCHOOL CHASES OUT THEIR ALUMNI D:.

So Chua slept over at my house. He play dota I sleep. Dota noobz.

Next day we wake up lor. I woke at like 7.30 preparing to bathe and stuff and leave house at 8 so we can reach the National Library at like 9. Then I bathe come out liow see Chua still sleeping. Then do stuff until 9.00 then leave. Procrastination win.

So we reached NL at 10 sharp sadly on time, met up with Mel and Pinin then study. AND OMG 7TH FLOOR YOU CANNOT BRING NOTES IN. SO I DID ECONS WITHOUT NOTES. POA I CANNOT DO WITHOUT MY TEXTBOOK (omg End of Sem GG) so I stone.

After that we go have lunch lor. Then perma stay at McDonald’s study until 3. Then chua left and the girls and I went shopping /hearts (why blogger cannot less than three -.-)

Bought two more topman shirts. The girls say 29 for two cheap cheap and I whatever go buy LOL.

Then went to Far East, but Pinin cannot find what she wanted to look for. Ended up I was the only one who bought ANYTHING. Anyways we go eat Pastamania then after that got awesome talks.

Fast forward in time, and we have tons of projects and presentations to do. And they are burning me out. And that's why I'm blogging about it. [spoiler; non-emo post coming up. I am, and never will be emo.]

So yea, FoM project. DBE project. Almost done with DBE, and we've barely scratched the surface of the FoM project. Blahhh gotta buck up! I have no idea why, but George Teo's requirements are fucking me up, and making me nervous and anxious about how we are going to approach the project.

Anyways, screw them projects for now. I'm blogging, not talking about stupid projects which is already plaguing my life!

Happy stuff? I ate Suki Sushi with Zhao Qin and Shuting! YEA WAHAHAHA LONG TIME NEVER EAT LIOW! Damned shiok, damned full. For reals. Just take a look at the stuff we ate (excluding plates from the conveyor belt)!

And after that I went back to school to order my skates. And I got them yesterday! Fell down damned many times, but w/e skating is awesome.

And then... went with Ryan to the Shaw Tower at Beach Road to look for skates because a Google search showed up a shop there. Google lied. The shop collapsed a long time ago. I ROFL'd for a few seconds when we realized that. So we went to the McDonalds in Bugis Junction, where Ryan tried to analyse what type of person I am based on the tree I drew. And he failed because he apparently 'made up theories from facts' instead of making up facts from theories. So that was it. Reached home at around 10 or something, and that day was somewhat awesome!

Back to... doing what I was doing before. ;0

Fast Forward in time - SKATES CAMP; CHAIN OF EVENTS PART 5

Yes, I know part 2 to 4 is missing, I forgot what I was gonna type for those, like seriously. So yea, it's now fast forwarded in time, to the MOST CURRENT event, Skates Camp.

Was boring, no mood to type. I am very racist and many of the races in which I'm racist against were there. Nuff said. Also it wasn't very well coordinated, resulting in an EXTREMELY boring camp.

First day, started at 6, ice broke and played games until 11, then it ended. The games weren't even fun. You had to scavenge stuff around the school and put it on top of a skateboard and see which team's 'transporter' (complete with 4 teammates on it) could go past the slope. Apparently no one was able to. Our attempt was win. Push too hard = skateboard fly wrong direction = epic crash into a wall. The seniors tried to prove that it's possible... and failed. Win? Not really.

Then we ended at 11... and was supposed to gather at... one. ONE, yes, ONE. Slackest camp FTW.... until I realized I had to attend a dance audition. OAROAROAORAOROAR much? Woke at 8, damned sleepy, went to take a bath and eat and then met up with Xuefang Beeqi and Sherileen at Subway..... and then waited for around 30 minutes for the registration to find out that it wasn't time. WTF DID THEY TELL US TO COME SO EARLY THEN. Me and Ryan went back to the classroom to sleep... and then finally we could register at around 11am or something.

Dance
Warmups. Fuckin' intensive, I can already feel some tension in my joints/muscles as I type this. Took 10-20 minutes for warmups alone, from stretching to more stretching. Didn't know I was so flexible though I am full of win LOL.

Anyways, had to rehearse a stupid dance for the audition. After the warmup and the hardcore shit of learning the dance I decided to screw it. However, I must admit that the process was somewhat fun. Too bad I wasn't chosen, and too bad it was a Saturday CCA. SCREW YOU SATURDAY CCAs.

Anyways... yea. Was exactly 1pm when the audition thingy ended or something and played some REALLY STUPID games like stuffing your shirt into a stocking and putting your head into the stocking, swinging it around, and seeing whose stockings you would pull off. That was awesome to watch, quite entertaining. Then came a few games I wouldn't even mention... and then... IT RAINED. How screwed up was that. Ended up going into a room and playing Texas and watching obscene acts play out in the whole of the rain's duration. Obscene acts include licking of MALE NIPPLES, Pole dancing, and a topless dude becoming pantsless due to a friend's prank. Mmmmm.

Then it was the water game. Singular. Anyways the point of it was to keep asking questions and force yourself not to answer the question directed to you by the other team with an answer. Killed 3-4 people off this way before I tio stunned and went into the water.

Rule of thumb? When what where who how.

Then after that... it was 6. We had to gather at 9 for a nightwalk of some sort. By this time I was completely and utterly disinterested in the camp and WENT HOME.

Camp was still fun though, met quite a number of new friends.

MEL's 17th birthday; CHAIN OF EVENTS PART 1!

Well it's ITB and this teacher is teaching us random stuff... like how to generate random numbers and so I thought I'd update my blog with what's been happening to my life. MY LIFE IS AWESOME! Alright, shall being typing part 1 (yes, 2 3 4 and 5 probably will come, no promises though.)

Went to chua's house at 9am I think, since he had to renew his passport. Bla bla bla then we reached Lavender at the building where you make your passport... and it was closed. Was labour day, and we've forgotten all about it. I cursed at chua. He cursed at me. Anyways, we left for Somerset (our meeting place) after that and for once I WAS EARLY FOR THE OUTING!

KFC, everyone assembled but Sian was late. Pfft.

Went to Orchard Central or whatever it was called, since Mel said that the helium balloons there was 2.80 per. Ended up being 12 bucks and thus only bought one. Sad right I wanted a pink superman one Mel got. SADDDDD! Pictures of it later, the pink Superman balloon DAMNED chio.

Anyways went to Vivo and to Sentosa, and if I'll have to give a word of advice I'll give it now. HOLIDAY + FUCKIN' CASINO = WTF MAD SQUEEZE. Yea, the queue was madness, monorail was packed, took 15-30 minutes to GET ON THE FRIGGIN' MONORAIL TO GET TO SENTOSA. But it was fun there though.

Didn't do much in Sentosa, just went to the beach and chilled. Chilled for like the whole day. Day was BURNING, too burning to enjoy it. No worries, I entertained myself by digging holes and crossing X'es in the sand. Yea.

Mel was sick on her birthday though, sucks right
Ended the day, everyone left AT 6. FRIGGING 6. SERIOUSLY? Nvm, was early enough for a movie. Mmmmm Ip Man 2 or Ironman 2? Hard to choose ainnit? Didn't have to. Took an hour to GET THE FUCK OUT OF SENTOSA. 2nd piece of advice? NEVER TRY TO GET OUT OF SENTOSA WHEN IT'S A PUBLIC HOLIDAY AND WHEN THERE'S A NEWLY OPENED CASINO OAROAROAROAROAOR.

Ah well, reached Vivo at 7, took the train to AMK, thinking of catching a late night movie. Reached AMK at around 8.30..... and this is where my 3rd piece of advice comes in. NEVER WATCH A MOVIE, ESPECIALLY ANTICIPATED ONES ON DAYS WHERE NO ONE GOES TO WORK. Both Ip and Ironmans were FULLY SEATED ALL THE WAY TO 2AM. Don't people need to sleep?

Urgh, ended the day. But the day was fun. I love my friends. And you too. Yes you, the one with the mustache.

First few days of school...

..was boring. Well... better than listening to lectures and doing tutorials and being frantic, but meh. Was really boring. Well I'm typing this because I'm bored too but w/e.

Anyways, I have no idea why I'm typing this too, there's like nothing to type. School was like... BAM and it's over. Probably because there's nothing to teach on the first lessons.

Just blogging to try to keep this blog alive.

Anyways today was retarded. Went to school for like an hour of lesson and then no more lessons. Ah well, was able to sing about 10 seconds of the Sorry Sorry parody before the teacher deems it child-unfriendly. Hahaha was funny, then went to do one man show of Bad Romance by Lady Gaga -_-. The rest ah, just stone there behind me and keep laughing. Laugh for what man I dance awesome okay!

Other than that... nothing interesting happened. Peace.

Sianyin's 17th birthday!

Since I have nothing to do AND due to the cancellation of today's outing I'm gonna blog! Well if you can read this blog is about yesterday's events... ok I'm lame.

Anyways, woke up at like 10 yesterday, and left house at 11.30 (yes procrastination > all). Reached AMK Hub and walked around till like 12.30, WHERE LICH WAS SUPPOSED TO SHOW UP AT, but couldn't find a stupid present for Sianyin! Present finding FTL!

Anyways... waited till 1, where Lich finally showed up. So guys it wasn't my fault I was late by an hour! Licheng was late ok!

So took MRT to Bedok and took 38 to TJC. Arrived at 2.10 or something, I forgot. Mel warned us of the security guard and stuff... but when we said "Oh, my friend's waiting inside, can we go find her? ^_^", they let us in after we've registered. The people who arrived before us wasn't so lucky though, even though I was sure it was the same security guard LOL, they had to wait for Sian to go fetch them before they were allowed in.

When me and Lich told them that they were like "OMGWTFBBQNOOOOO" :D.

Anyways... ate cake, when Sianyin only joined us for like 10 minutes (ok la, 10 minutes after we've reached and we were late so she might have stayed longer) and stuff. Then she had a class test -_-. So she left and me and Mel decided to explore TJC! I tweeted a bunch of stuff about it yesterday so I won't bother to elaborate on it :p.

tl;dr, TJC is SMALLLLLLLL (not as small as AJC though hahahaha Mel!).

Then we stoned even more at the library till Sianyin got released. Then she said she had to meet her mom for dinner and we were like "WTF DID WE WAIT FOR YOU FOR D:". Blah birthday girl let her la! 17 year old liow man! :D.

So we took the MRT, and Lich and I got off at AMK. It was only 5. Bah, too early for our tastes. Went to watch this weird movie called "Date Night". Was about some couple who stole a reservation seat and ended up being chased by mafia (were they mafia O.O) as the person's seats they stole stole the boss's flashdrive or something.

Oh yea, forgot to put up a SPOILER ALERT, but whatever. Movie was okay, since ticket's only 6 bucks still can go watch, good waste of time at least.

Went home after movie..... and the day was over.

WAHHHHHHHHHHHHH I WANTED AN OUTING TODAY! Now I'm bored and stoning at home T_T.

So, new phase of life.

So, 3 days of SP orientation has passed. Actually not bad ah, took me faster to settle in than I thought. So here I am, being unable to sleep and THAT IS A BAD BAD THING BECAUSE I HAVE FRIGGING FLAG DAY TOMORROW, but I digress. Since I can't sleep, I decided to revive my somewhat dead blog with these few days of orientation.

Day one!

Okay... Arrived 30 minutes earlier. Walked at least 10 kilometer (exaggeration la), got lost at least 20 times and finally found the School of Business at 9. Yes I TOOK 30 MINUTES TO FUNDTHE FRIGGING PLACE -_-.

Anyways, got sorted in, went in and did stuff lor, talk talk talk then bonding and stuff like that.

Got to know each other's names and stuff, even though to this day I don't remember some of their names :(. SOME ONLY HOR!

Liked the watermelon thingy, Greg totally raped Jeremy. Think both of them enjoyed it.

Also... Weishen is... ._.

Day two!

Bah, only need one sentence man. Amazing race wasn't amazing at all. Partly because it was boring. Partly it was because I couldn't get myself enthused over it hahaha. Bah, whatever, was still totally shiok.

Shiok to see the seven wonders forfeit sia. Again Greg got sabo'd. See they come out face red red quite funny :p.

Went to sing (ok la, I didn't sing jsut go watch the rest sing lor! No rock songs all oldies :x) karaoke! Was amazed SP had one ._.

Also youknowwho keeps using his cam to snap random pictures of everyone... abit creepy :/

Like that lor. Not bad... not bad.

Day three!

Imho most fun day! Not because of the laptop thingy though, that was boring as hell, could literally see EVERYONE using facebook (including me, duh, but I gave up eventually due to crappy connection).

No, was not the laptop thingy! Was actually the after events man! Anyways, met our PTN/PTM (Don't know which one LOL) or form teacher lor. Seems okay la, at least not the stereotypcal grouchy old man you get reminded of when you see/hear/taste the word "form teacher". So far so good.

Oh yea; went for bowling before that. Waseh I totally failed man. BUT that was because I noob lah; only bowl before one time before that can! Hahahaha.

Anyways; ended with 35 while Xueling, the person who was as fail as me in the beginning shot up in the later parts. BAH, I help her with her 7 points can! My points supposed to be 42 ok! Anyways all was fun man.

That's not the end for the fun though! Went to Bishan to meet Lich, planning to skin my lappie bright orange. Went there then they tell me don't have orange. Want whack people man! Ah well, 90 bucks saved still okay. Then we started the quest to find the most awesome laptop sleeve you could find. No luck in Bishan, pfft.

Decided to go to Funan. Took a cab, 13 bucks leh! @_@. Walked for like 2 hours, found plenty of sleeves, BUT NO FRIGGING TURQUOISE OR NEON ORANGE! Blah. Lich found his sleeve though, though it was frigging hard to find sleeves for a 15 inch lappie. Was about to give up when we went to the first floor -- and it was there that I saw this shop selling sleeves. I was like "WTF WHY DIDN'T WE COME HERE SOONER". Found a turquoise sleeve, albeit not as bright as I would have liked, but still bought it since I was that despo! Not bad not bad.

So that was the day; not bad at all. Likin' the new environment already! Thank god class is (kind of) awesome or else cui man :p.

That reminds me, it's one o' clock! Gotta head to bed man, been saying I'd go to bed since like 12. Flag day tomorrow, not really looking forward to it, but hey, CCA (or was it CIP) points are CCA points!

Yes, been a long long time since I've blogged. It was because life was insanely boring and I didn't want to work my lazy ass off. So yea, since I don't have a social life due to most of my friends being in JC and yet don't have a job, I was stuck at home, being no life, playing stupid games and surfing the stupid web. I didn't feel the need to blog about those, so yup, blog remained empty!

(I know, I know, the group went out a few more times after the last post of this blog, but I was also too lazy to blog about it :o)

Back onto the topic. Woke up early (11am, yes, early for me) for outing! reached AMK hub at around 11.45, was supposed to meet up with Lich, thought I was already insanely late, but it turned out that when I sms'd him at like 12.50 he was STILL ON THE EFFING BUS ORAORAORAORARAOA. Anyways, that wasn't all. We were both chatting about stupid games and then we missed the Orchard stop. Had to get off at Somerset. Also, we were too retarded or retarded to wait for a train to take us back to Orchard, so we walked to Shaw House (supposed meeting location). SWELTERING FUCKING HEAT, I'd tell ya. Our balls were literally WET from all the walking and jeans wearing (See, my dear, that is why Singaporeans DON'T FRIGGING WEAR JEANS, EVEN IF WE'RE GOING TO THE CITY).

Anyways, needless to say, long journey + sweltering heat + wrong station = 1 hour late. And when got there, only 2 unlucky sods were there waiting for us -- Mel and Pinin. Turned out Dunhao and Adrian overslept. What douches. Chang didn't come for some reason I wouldn't cover here; though the tweets I saw while waiting was WTF BITCHSLAPPPPP worthy. Too sensitive, might I add. Anyways, it was another 30 minutes before Dunhao, Adrian and Sianyin FINALLY reached. Poor Mel; she had to repeat "Do you see Rubi Shoes? Accessorize? OMGGGGGGG JUST COME SHAW HOUSEEEEEEE" 2-3 times for Dunhao and Adrian (and maybe Pinin). Was a hilarious scene :).

Blah blah blah, lunch, blah, shopping, blah, walking around, blah blah, bonding, movie started.

Movie was kind've awesome though. Awesome effects and stuff. Those the ending was kinda meh, and fast. I mean what. Hey, hey, hey Hades, hey hey. What? BOLT! Ba, 3 second scene that showed Percius throwing Hades back to the underworld.

That reminds me. While waiting for Sianyin everyone started saying "Hey. Hey , hey. Hey, hey", due to some youtube video everyone (but noobs like Licheng and Pinin) happened to watch. Interested? I know right.

Ok ok, I lied. I told you guys on Twitter I'd blog about it. I'm not gonna. Instead, it's gonna be a plog. Be jealous, for those who can't cook! :P

Okay, it'll have a teeensy weeeensy amount of text. What happened you ask? I was bored. I looked into the refrigerator. There was leftover rice and meat. I thought, since I'm hungry, why the heck not! So I went cooking with whatever minimal resources I had.

Jesus Christ, I gotta say, that this fried rice wasn't technically fried rice. It had no onions, no carrot, no crabmeat (ok, not traditional ones, but I used to eat them with crabmeat!) nada, only teriyaki chicken (who the heck puts teriyaki chicken into fried rice anyways?!), but heck, it was delicious enough to fill my hungry stomach. Right, no more talking, pictures!

That is all. Off to wash plates! One bad thing about cooking at home is that you gotta clean up! D:

Yes, it's been 10 days since my last post. No, I wasn't lazy.. just that nothing interesting had happened.. until yesterday (read the title)! It was kinda fun... for all of us, I hope. Dunhao got owned IN THE FACE though, but we'll touch on that later.

What happened? Reached AMK Hub at 12.15 to watch Percy Jackson with Lich and Chang, since we had too much spare time before we were supposed to meet up with the rest ("supposed" is in italics.... you'll know soon).

I was on time. Chang was early. Lich? Well... Let's just say he wasn't there when the movie started. He only reached like 30 minutes after the movie.

How was the movie? Extremely nice, next to Zombieland on my favourite movie of 2009/10. Probably. Hopefully. Anyways, not touching on how nice the movie was (but it was nice, go watch it!) since this post is about the clique gathering.

Movie ended at 2.45pm. Was so scared we'll be late. Turned out only Pinin reached Plaza Singapore when we arrived. The rest?

"Will be late!" "I'm waiting for Sian!!!" "Sorry!"

So yea. Told Pinin that we watched PJ and she was like "OMFG OMFG OMFG WHY NEVER ASK ME!!!" Turned out she left school and went home at like 9. Too bad! :)

Anyways, Mel, Sian, Adrian FINALLY reached at 4+. That's like, over an hour late. Adrian told Mel that Dunhao was watching a movie... while Dunhao told Chang that he'll be late. Adrian told us AFTER Dunhao called, so we thought that he wasn't coming. (I only found out about like 10 hours later)

So we've had our dinner, walked around a bit.... and then Dunhao called me.

Oh hai thar. Where you all? Let's eat dinna nao!

I just couldn't bring myself to say that we've already had dinner. But I did. His tone just insta turn super emo. LOL! Turns out that he had rejected watching a movie with the 05 boys because we were supposed to eat dinner. It's okay. We, being wonderful epic winners, ATE DINNER AGAIN WITH DUNHAO! Yes, we are that awesome (even though I was the only one who ate ramen, while the rest just ate ice cream). Oh, I forgot. They were cheering their school cheers throughout. Me and Lich, the only people thar without cheers was like...

So yea, after that, walked around, and went home.

When we all met up, everyone (meaning those without school, i.e soon-to-be Poly students) were so damned frustrated about the change in tap sounds. Especially Lich, actually, because he's too used to not tapping the card when getting off from the bus.

The feeling was further rubbed in when we took the MRT from AMK to Harbourfront. JC students rejoice; it cost us... wait for it... wait for it... wait for it...

ONE POINT ZERO TWO FUCKIN' DOLLARS. YES. $1.02. YARGGGHHHHHHHHHHH

I am sad. So was everyone else. But enough of that, let's talk about the happenings in Sentosa.

Warning post - Chang is EXTREMELY ownage today and thus most of the happenings WILL and HAS revolved around Chang failing. Yes, her fails will be thoroughly mentioned from now onwards.

Spent 3 bucks going into Sentosa. Nothing epic yet, "explored" the half-opened and uninteresting Resorts World, until....

Gets on train/monorail.

Chang: OH HAI THAR. LET'S GET OFF AT IMBIAH STATION!! THE BEACH'S THAR!!
Lich: WHAI NOT BEACH STATION? BEACH STATION MEANS THERE'S BEACHES NEAR IT INSTEAD OF THIS IMB-WHAT-THE-SHIT STATION?
Chang: OH NOEZ! IMBIAH STATION IS TEH WAY TO GOEZ!

Since Chang seemed so sure of herself, we (meaning me and Lich) reluctantly followed. First thing Chang did after we left the train (or monorail, whatever)? SHE WENT TO SEE THE MAP OF SENTOSA.

Lich and I did a literal facepalm at this point of time. It's still okay, actually, because Chang SEEMED to know her way. And so we walked. Was pretty much burning from now onwards, since the Sentosa thingy was SO impromptu that Lich and I were wearing jeans.

Chang: SEE! THERE'S THE BEACH!
Lich: OWH LOOK! THAR'S THIS BUILDING THAR!
Me: OWH LOOK! EETZ A SIGNBOARD! WHUT DARZ EET SAY?!

So that was it, we walked a super duper long route in the blistering hot sun to the beach, instead of taking the cool, relaxing monorail route.

Nothing much interesting, when to the beach with jeans, sat down, blasted some music, buried our feet, fed Licheng some sand, went back to Vivo. (cough, don't ask me about the bolded part, cough.)

Went back to Vivo, splurged on Starbucks, and took the MRT back to AMK.

Yes, Chalet. I could have summed up the whole chalet experience in 2 words - FRIGGING AWESOMESAUSE, but I won't, because I know you (yes you, the one with the moustache) wants to know about the chalet trips. Photowhores be warned, there are no pictures, sadly, much to my regret. WHY DIDN'T WE TAKE PICTURES?!?!?

Digressing, here's what happened in Day One.

Reached chalet, yada yada...

Forget it. I'm not in the mood to blog, urgh. I'll just list down all that's happened in pointform, and blog about them when I feel like it...

What has happened?

Chalet - BBQ, KBOX, Night Cycling, Pool, Arcade, Wild Wild Wet, losts of Pastamania (for me at least)
Got an iPhone (and lovin' it) - jailbroke it, got many many many apps, got a screen protector, got a skin, got a crystal case.
Went to watch TWO movies. One with Lich ; Daybreakers, the other with Lich and Dunhao ; Law Abiding Citizens. Both were AWESOMESAUSE (and not forgetting they were NC16 :D)
Went shopping with Lich and Dunhao on Sunday and Monday. 313, Orchard, Heeren, Hougang Mall, AMK Hub, etc etc.

What is going to happen?

It has been 6 days since I've last blogged. 6 days ago my optimism and confidence were at its peak. Not anymore.

Ever since I've took back my shocking results, and taking in the truth of not being able to get into the JC I want to go into (NYJC, by the way), I've been wallowing in disappointment and self pity... till 8 hours after I've taken back my results. Doomsday
Had breakfast/lunch with the guys and girls.
Went to school, Mr. Singh was there catching people with attire/hair problems. Naturally, I was caught. Surprisingly, he was probably in a super good mood because he just told me to cut a little of my hair. And so I did. I went back, sideburn still as long as hell (no seriously, what did you expect for a 4dollar trim?), and the fringe still touching my brows. He looked and me, pondered awhile, and let me pass. (See! He was in a good mood!)

Then there was the storytelling session. It wasn't that awesome. Onwards to results. Yada, yada. Got it back, turned emo before you can even yell "ZOMG THAT'S CHUCK NOR--"

Went home, came out within 10 minutes. Shopping time, apparently. Went to Paragon with Chang and Tang Yang first. They did some retarded things I would not care to elaborate about. Then met up with Lich. Then went to 313@Somerset to meet up with the rest. Ate burger at a burger shop, coincidentally named 'Handburger'. Their burger tasted mightily good, so I recommend you to try that place!

Guys went shopping for their own stuff, and naturally I didn't follow, and followed the girls into Forever21. It was a 3 storey shop for stuff females buy. If it was for electronics (See; Courts, Best Denki) or for stuff (See; NTUC, Metro), it'd have had been fine. But for clothes and accessories? Overkill. Meh, girls liked it though.

That was all. Returned home empty handed.
The days following 'Doomsday'? It was kinda fun filled!

One day after Doomsday
I think I stayed at home, pondering about my future. Yea, I did that.

Two days after Doomsday
Was supposed to go to Lich's house and then to NP for the course counselling thingy, at 12nn. Reached his house at 1.30pm. I overslept. Blame Licheng and his 3am "Hey, wanna play a match of LoL?". And so, stayed at his home, played some more LoL, and went to AMK Hub. Wanted to watch a movie, but there were no movies nice enough to warrant paying 6 bucks for it.

Went to 313@Somerset (again) instead. Was feeling super hungry, and thus splurged on food (again). Ate at SayCheeze. I got to admit, the food there was A-W-E-S-O-M-E. Took pictures too. Will update with pictures tomorrow (hopefully).

EDIT: Well, it's already tomorrow's tomorrow, but who cares? Here's the piccies!

Met Gasper, he was working at this Adidas reseller. Talked for a moment, and then we went home.

Three days after Doomsday
Went to Ngee Ann Polytechnic. That place was BIG. Went to the course counselling thingy. They said that Business Studies had 400 slots, and that with my score of 13, would hopefully be able to get into. Still wasn't relieved, but meh.

Took cab to Hougang Mall. The time? 1.20pm. Was supposed to meet at Mel's house at 2pm. Reached Hougang Mall at 2pm (I know right, awesome isn't it?)

Ate at Pastamania (MMMMMM! Pasta NEVER gets old!), and left. Reached Mel's house at 2.40pm. Or was it?

Played Monopoly with the rest (except Lich, he was watching a stupid anime). Won the game with a total amount for $4455 (Cash + property). I only owned 3 Railway Stations, both the Utilities, and one piece of indigo land (which no one stepped on -_-). Moral of this event? Government owns you.

It was 4.45pm (yes, I remember, because at this point of time Mel was exasperated by her lack of money and found the game boring :D) when the game ended. Then Mel suggested playing a EVEN MORE RETARDED not-even-fit-to-be-a-game game, Indian Poker. How do you play it? You basically can't see your own card you chose, while everyone else can. If your card is the lowest, you get treated to ancient water treatment - i.e, drink a cup of water. The first dude/dudette to go to the toilet loses. You get to change your card once, so if you get taunted by friends or got owned by their lies, you can change it.

I drank 10 cups of water. Ten. 10. X. Juu. Not worse than Sianyin though. She drank like 15! And of course, she lost. The loser had to treat ONE person to a meal. So its.... SPIN THE BOTTLE TIME! One try, failed. Second try, failed. Ended up using my phone. And guess who my phone chose? Yes, me! Now Sianyin owes me a meal. MUAHAHAHAHA.

That was all, went home...

Handed in my JAE form. I forgot what were my choices, and is too lazy to check the printed page (and to type it out...)

Four days after Doomsday
That was yesterday. Rot at home AGAIN. Nothing particularly interesting happened.

That's what it happened. And I spent an hour typing all these shit. SHIT! It's 3am. Ah well, life's swell.

The End of My Secondary School life

We're getting our results tomorrow, Monday, 11th of January 2009. Whenever I think of getting my results, I think not about how bad it is (nor how good it is, no one will know... Anyways, what's done is done, and I'm pretty confident myself), but think about the times when I've thoroughly enjoyed myself in school.

Not school as in school, duh, but the fun, joy and laughter I've had had during my last years in secondary school. Upper secondary was the time when I've really felt that I've met my true friends, whom I can share both joy or sadness with. Wow, this is turning into some sort of solemn post, lol!

The people whom were with me in lower secondary will probably know WTF happened. That was when I've realized the true meaning of 'true friends stab you in the front' and what people would do to achieve something. Yes, lower secondary was muthaeffing bad. Wonder why I'm baring out my feelings in this blog post, but meh, life goes on.

From that, I'd like to give all of my lovely friends who had stood beside me through my upper secondary life a big e-hug. (I just can't do that in real life, no way)

You guys really rock. I swear. I just love the feeling of being surrounded by true, genuine, caring, kind, lovely, etc friends. Even if we go into different JCs/Polytechnics, I swear I'll never forget you all. That, I swear. I mean, it's not like we won't have group outings ever again, eh? I'D MAKE IT COMPULSORY TO SEE EACH OTHER AT LEAST ONCE PER MONTH!

You guys are really the best...

2010. A brand new year. End of our Secondary School lives, and onwards to whatever the future holds. I swear xenophobia (fear of the unknown) is really scary. What would we experience in this new year? New friends? New experiences? New feelings? New.. stuff? Pretty scary to think that this is the year that Secondary School ends... Ah well, we should all look forward to new and exciting stuff that WILL happen in our new surroundings!

What's a New Year without a New Year's Resolution? My NYR shall be;

Never be too afraid to do anything. After all, you only live life once, so just do your best in everything you do, regardless of whether you will fail or not!

Chua and me arived at Lich's house. Slacked. Stoned. Played CoD4 MW2 till like 8.30pm. then we left.

9.10pm
Arrived at Orchard MRT at 9.10. Yes, we were late. We reached there to find out Mel and Drian was later. And while we were waiting, I bet with Lich that they will go out of the station before calling us (we were camping in the station). I was right. They had to reach 7-11 before calling us. -_-

9.30pm - 10.30
Visited Chang. Yes, again. Just to waste time. Ate Burger King for an (approx) hour. Now.. Why am I blogging about these non-important information? And so, I shall skip all the way to the main event of this post - the 2010 Countdown!

2010 Countdown!
First things first. I LOVED THE... 'Party CRAZY STRING' or what do you call them. They were like mad fun LOL. Heck, I took the last (unused) can home!

Onwards to the event!
Reached Clarke Quay at 11.30-11.40pm. Met up with the rest of the group. After a fun filled (?) waste of time playing with the lightsticks and party sprays! Wasted literally like 5 cans in the matter of minutes!

THE SKY WAS SO FREAKIN' CLOUDY THAT NO ONE COULD SEE THE DARNED FIREWORKS!!! ARGHHHH.
That was seriously... disappointed, to say in the least. You could practically feel the mood change when the people there realized that we couldn't see the fireworks, when we could hear them so darned easily. Nevertheless, everyone started cheering at the empty (beside the freaking clouds) sky while wishing everyone Happy New Year. It was also at this point of time when Starhub crashed. It was a sight to behold. Chua was frantic from being unable to send a 'happy new year' message to *cough*! Yes, Starhub crashed for like an hour.
(I'll admit it - I too felt panicky when I saw the word 'Starhub' being replaced by 'Emergency Calls Only')

Starhub uncrashed at around 12.50, where I started receiving messages people has send around an hour ago. But yes, I'm digressing already, all you people want are the pictures from the gathering, don't cha? Alright, less talk more pictures now, enjoy!

On the first day of christmas

Yes, yes... I know I've said that I'll be posting the worded post the next day... but I was just too busy/don't feel like it! [cough] Well, I have spare time now that the last day of work flew by so quickly! So... it goes like this;

Christmas day, Kiddy Palace had less shoppers, most last minute ones, nothing interesting.
10pm, store closes, takes taxi to Compass Point for some Kiddy Palace parteh.

Met Lich thar! Xmas party wasn't anything spectacular, just some gifts exchange thing - 'traded' a Pooh soft toy keychain for a jar of Roche...

And it was going home time. Time left - still vivid in my brain - 11.53pm.
We (Lich and me) went to the bus stop - missed the almighty bus 159 by like 2-3minutes. We thought - ok, Lich thought - 'HECK! Let's WALK home!' Wonder why the heck I agreed to it, probably since I had the intention to do that in the first place, OR that I was simply too high to go home the conventional way by taxi.

So yea, walked home..

By this time it was around 12.10am or something. It was freaking scary. Especially during the long stretch of road where there's this really scary stretch of field beside it. We practically wheezed past it like tigers, or rather - ghosts were chasing us. No really, the field had this super eerie look!

Somewhere near Mel's house. Took it as proof that we walked past the field! Ran slightly on the way, lol.

It was around 12.30am that we reached Hougang Point. Since we were so close, we figured; 'Hey! Might's well go visit the school!' So there we were, inching closer and closer to our destination.

By the time we've reached the police station, Lich was literally dehydrating, and I had little to no water left. Thank god for vending machines, I'd say. Thank god for superb memory for we also remembered where there was one near us!

After Lich finished his Green Tea, we were off again, this time closer to the school!

And that was it. It was by this time that my determination to walk ALL THE WAY home wavered. My legs (ok, soles) were throbbing from all the standing and walking throughout the day. I was literally finding taxis to go home from, nevermind the fact that Hougang Point was so darned near to my house.

From that point onwards, I did not have anymore strength to take anymore pictures, and furthermore, there was nothing interesting to take.

Then we saw it - Sheng Siong. After the terrible 3 (yes, only 3) streets we had to cross from Hougang Point to my house, we saw the almighty Sheng Siong!
Then there was it - my home. Now Lich is on his own. From what I have known, he has had reached the safety of his house in time before angry wereghosts ate him up.

Day ended with adrenaline effects felt. We swore to never ever do this crap again. But we both agreed on one thing;

5th day of work + random thoughts

5th day of work. Nothing interesting. Only that it was like 50% busier than the past week. Mel would be thrilled (maybe) when she reads what I am going to type next. ~~I HEART YOU MEL (jk)~~ I sold more than 20 of those $19.90 cars and at least 3 of those $29.90 ones. It was fun wasting 5 minutes for every car I've tested! That means like a quarter of my 8 hours was spent testing cars! Sweet, no?

Enough of the boring work chat. When I was having my break, I explored Tampines Mall (Century Square - way too little shops) to try to find Christmas presents for my dear friends (yes, got no presents yet for them, except for.. nvm, people like Jiaman would crap again). Alas, screw the week before Christmas! Whilst it means extra revenue for retail stores/ whatnots, THE CROWD WAS F/CKING CRAZY!

Snapped this while on the escalator. The crowd was madnessly... mad. Just like what I said to Mel, thank god I work at Century Square! Also, thank god Century Square has little shops, which resulted in little crowds, which resulted in a peaceful lunch/dinner, which resulted in little to no indigestion, which resulted in a-- nevermind, let's stop there for now.

This brings me to the next part of my post...

Whilst I was in Kiddy Palace, I've saw lots of women with babies and many more that are pregnant, and that led me to think about this:

When a female is pregnant, their menses stop. With stopped menses, less eggs are displaced every month, with up to 10 less eggs displaced per average full pregnancy.

Logical, no? Thus that, led me to a thought-invoking question;

Does that mean that women that has given birth to more babies will enter menopause at a later age?

That is actually logical (I'd like someone to prove me wrong here), but doesn't a woman has a specific number of eggs stored since birth (something about 40k, source: Internet)? When no eggs are displaced during pregnancy (hence the "I've missed my period for a long time" pretest for pregnancy), won't the eggs take a longer while to totally deplete off the body? Interesting, ainnit (at least I think so)? Discuss!

Why do I think that the phrase/advice/crap/bullshit is, well, crap? All these days of working at Kiddy Palace (refer to previous blogpost), was, at the very least, a breeeeeeeeeeeeeze.

What do I do at Kiddy Palace? Play with toy cars, help custom -- wait. Refer to my previous blogpost. Seriously, I do the same thing everyday. So yea. That's it. 9 hours fly past me, quoting myself, like "a breeeeeeeeeeeeeze."

Lameness aside, at what appeared to be 15 minutes of stoning, I've realized I've been staring at one particular place for not 15minutes, but basically 95% of my working hour, for the past few days I've been working there. No, not hot chicks, but something slightly wrong.

Yes, that's it! The books I've bought seemed interesting enough, with intriguing titles like "The Last Witchfinder", "Sacred Games", etc.

I've apparently Google'd reviews for those books when I've reached home yesterday, and they all garnered lovely reviews. I've made good buys! *feels good*

The place I'm working at. Only managed to remember to take a snapshot when I was leaving.

So yea. I'm promoting toy cars. Toy cars that mimic the cars in an Okto cartoon that plays on Wednesday and Friday, on some time.

Also, it's proven - you can promote something without knowing anything about the product - I did it. However, over the course of the 3 days, my understanding of the cartoon has greatly improved - all without watching the cartoon.

- The lead character uses a red car - Fly-Infinity (retarded name imho)
- The two hottest car sold is "Dark Evil" and "Fly-Infinity". (What about the other lead with the yellow car?)
- The cartoon sucks, but is good enough to warrant noisy children begging their parents to buy the car for them.

That's what I've learnt about the cartoon.

Onwards to my amazing (not!) recount of my first few days of work...

Day 1
Woke up to a super early record breaking time of 10am. Yes, 10am. Needed to buy polo tees, and went with mom to Junction 8's Giordano (it's the closest branch to us that opens at 10.30). Had Mcdonald's McMuffins for breakfast. (Ordered McGriddles but only realized it was McMuffin after my first bite >_>)

Went the super duper long route of Bishan > City Hall > Tampines. Yes. It took 40 minutes. And I still arrived early.

So yes, I went into Kiddy Palace and inquired. And poof! I'm the promoter. Fumbled with the cars for 10 minutes. Then played like the pro for the whole of the 3 days (exaggeration).

Mingled with the staff. Made friends.

And I remember how many #19.90 toy cars I've sold for the first day. 11. ELEVEN.
$9.90 cars? 3.
Onwards to...

Day 2
Woke up later - 11.30am. Father drove me to work, while using a super big route of My house > Eunos > Kembangan > Tampines. He wanted me to learn to route (FWF was what I was thinking), when he was driving me to work for the rest of the days.

So I arrived at Kiddy Palace early again. Went in, and saw a new promoter. Quite chio, but that's besides the point. She was working with Megcorp. The company that makes Super-Yoyos. And promoting them yoyos along with the toy heli that Mel's father's company makes (I'm starting to see Mel differently here >_>), at least according to my staff friend.

So yea. Promoting continues. Not that interesting, ainnit? So I'm just gonna focus on interesting parts. For around 4 hours out of the 8 hours me and another staff friend (Aaron) was playing the car. I was playing the $19.90 car while he was playing the $29.90 car.

He was owning me with the drifter car. This shows than 2 motors > 1, and 6 batteries > 4.
Changed batteries at least 20 times today - around the same as yesterday (yes, wtf fast battery depletion FTL?)

So yea. We both took the chance to yell "BANG HER, BANG HER!!!!" at the female promoter. It felt great LOL.

That was it... and next is...

Day 3
Perfect timing now - reached Kiddy Palace at 12.59nn. Aaron didn't come today, sadly. That meant one less person to play the cars with. :(

Anyways, speaking about battery depletion, I had a customer whose son played with the toy using newly bought batteries.... and the car only lasted for 45 minutes. WTF?! Ah well, I told him to get new batteries. The car really eats up batteries fast.

Played toy cars again for the rest of the day. Sold 16 race tins (the $19.90 one).
"Battled" with the female promoter, nicknamed "Lemon". (Oh I was nicknamed "Curry", but I'm used to that >_>). My car VS her car (the one that can move in any position), and she'd always pwn me soon after I pwn her - danged batteries!

Equation:

Low batt = no power = tio own.

Conclusion
The car ain't as bad as I've thought. It was actually fun. I'm thinking of buying one as both a souvenir and as a toy, LOL.
Yea, promoting isn't as hard as I've thought - it's fairly alright, actually!

Not A Movie Review: Zombieland

This movie is so awesome that I refuse to write a review for it. You have to watch it yourself. It is WORTH EVERY SINGLE PENNY, if you watch it in the cinemas. Even though I watched it at home *cough*, I will rewatch it if friends go. It is just that epic.

Movie Review : Planet 51

As you all might have read from my tweets, I am having a movie marathon to curb my boredom. I've finished watching "Planet 51". The storyline was overly familiar (y'know, ends when the main person gets saved?), but its plot was good enough to warrant a trip to the cinemas. Over better, watch it at home. *wink*

What is Planet 51, you might ask. I have no idea. In the movie, there was no mention of the number "51" (maybe there was, I just didn't hear it). So, the title of the movie was kind've weird. Oh, I might also want to add, it's rating of "PG" is so wrong. The males don't wear trousers!!1!! Oh, might I mention that they don't have those mushroom-like (reference from Pinin) things we males have. This can be shown at one part of the movie when the aliens saw the human astronaut's wiener and said: "That's a weird place for an antenna".

So what is this movie about? The movie begins when [SPOILER ALERT, HIGHLIGHT TO READ]a human astronaut, Captain Charles T. Baker (voiced by Dwayne Johnson; yes I do research >_>) lands on Planet 51 (I assume, according to the movie title), doing a stupid landing jump (accompanied by matching music) and sticking the American flag onto the surface, all before realizing the planet was not as uninhabited as he thought.

And his spaceship gets cordoned off - just like how the world government will when a spaceship lands - it's not that hard to visualize.

So of course, the human is regarded as an alien (lol irony) and chased down, but is given help by this 'non-alien' called Lem (voiced by Justin Long), and his sci-fi comic books-obsessed friend, Skeef (or Skiff, who cares)(voiced by Seann William Scott), along with the girl (or alien, whatever) of his dreams, Neera (voiced by Jessica Biel) and brother (?)(no information on the voice) for him to return in his spaceship.

They are pursued by General Grawl (voiced by Gary Oldman) and his evil scientist, Kipple (voiced John Cleese) who is bent on getting Captain Charles's brain.

Oh, before I forget, there is also the fact that the advance probe (lets call him Apollo) Earth sent is interested only in rocks, and only sends pictures of rocks, without notifying Earth that Planet 51 that the planet was full of 'aliens' and has a perfectly lush environment.

Yes, since this movie is quite generic, the astronaut, with the help of the 'aliens', gets sent back to Earth - you probably already guessed that, but I am still going to type out the plot >_>.

Oh wait, I've already typed it out. Some minor details - Lem kisses Neera at the end of the movie (D'uh). Also, they had thought the universe was 500 miles long (yes, 500 miles), but was corrected by the astronaut. [END SPOILER]

Now for my own thoughts. Planet 51, even though it's generic, is worth a watch in the movies. (Wait.. I've said that at the beginning already, d'oh). I liked some of the humour in the movie, like how they stereotyped aliens - Subtle yet funny anal probe references by his sci-fi comic books-obsessed friend, Skeef. Another part I liked was the playtime between Apollo and the weird looking 'dog'.

Yes, I am always super hyper un-bored before I go to bed - that explains by super 'early' (yes, 4am early) bedtimes, even when I've been ranting/screaming/whining "BORED" in the daytime.

So yes, I've been meaning to find any workshops for CSS/C+/XHTML workshops, just to spend my time more meaningfully and in the meantime learn more skills. Any recommendations?

Back to the original intention of posting this post, I've been fiddling around with the layout of this blog. (Yes, I love playing with them codes, even when I don't really know what they really mean ,_,)
As you can see from the image above (or click it to enlarge it), I've repositioned and massive-fied the tagboard, all the way to the top of the blog, just below the banner. Who thinks it's alot nicer than just being in the sidebar? The reasoning for it was to clear space in my sidebar so I could add a wishlist (lol) - something I've been meaning to do, and of course add a list of "upcoming events".

I might do away with the banner if the tagboard position is confirmed (yes, I'm super fickle-minded), or bring it to the bottom of the blog (where almost no one goes to).

Leave comments please, they are super appreciated. Tell me whether the tagboard should remain at the sidebar or go to its new place above the blog. If it remains at the sidebar, I'd have no space to put my adored lists of various articles.

I forgot to blog about this when I've first read it, so here it is, and I guarantee you the biggest "WTF" in like, forever.

That Nene Anegasaki, she's a charmer. She's also a video game character from extreme dating sim Love Plus, now wedded to a flesh and blood gamer.
The two were married when a man brought his DS along with a copy of Love Plus to a church in Guam. There's no word on honeymoon plans, but the two will be holding a small reception for family, close friends and the internet on November 22nd. (Seriously, there will be a webcam and stuff.)
It just goes to show, the power of Woman has no bounds. Stick her in a digital fortress, simplify her beauty to Nintendo DS rendering limits and give her a shrill, anime voice. Woman will triumph all the same.

This week a church in Guam pronounced a man and his copy of dating sim Love Plus husband and, well, wife, and the happy couple will be hosting a reception in Japan that you are cordially invited to view tomorrow.
The unnamed man took his DS and the game to Guam where he said vows with to Nene Anegasaki, one of three virtual girlfriends featured in Love Plus. Tomorrow, the couple will have a reception held on Niconico Douga at around 12 p.m. (no time zone given, check local listings on the site, if you can read Japanese.) The media has been invited to attend; slides will be shown from their time dating up through the wedding.
I've heard of dudes marrying a mannequin before so, this not in fact the most weird-slash-creepy-slash-pathetic thing I've ever heard. But my forced nonjudgment about this really needs its own word. Begrimaced? Bittersad?

A very big problem is forming in my mind already. When he finally realizes he is freaking retarded, how is he going to get a divorce? And along with a divorce, 50% of your property is supposed to be given to the spouse, am I right? How is he going to be achieved? Ok, taking that he runs away from his "wife", and finds another female that he likes, whom is a real, breathing, walking, person, how is he going to tell the new female about how he is a married man?

I can already see the female's look. And how the guy will never get laid. Never. Ever.
Speaking about getting laid, how the hell is that pathetic dude gonna have sex with his DS wife?!?!

Another question. What if one day the DS malfunctions or something, and the game crashes? Will the male get charged with murder? Oh, so many questions, so little answers.

Time flies. It's the beginning of a new month already. Nothing to blog about today, nothing interesting whatsoever happened today. But I must blog at least 1 post a day!

Anyways, got a job.... on 23rd December. Yes, I start work 1 day after my birthday. Screw my birthday, why couldn't I be born at the date just after the O' Levels? God f/ckin' damned it! Or why can't the MOM (Ministry of Manpower) hire sweet cute cuddly lookin' 15 year olds?! That law's slightly retarded. Why can't MOM at least allow those that are 16 the particular year to work, regardless of birthday?!

I'll have to wait another 22 days.

On a side note, anyone wanna go out these few days? Watch a movie, chill, have se--, uhm, have fun?

Super bored at home, and everyone's working. First time in my life I'm hatin' my birthday being so close to the end of the year ~_~.

Ok, this post is super serious. The chalet is back on. Yes, super mafan, but yes, the chalet is back on.

Slight adjustments there, people going but not sleeping still need to pay $$. You've read that right. People not sleeping over needs to pay $10. People eating BBQ needs to pay $5. People sleeping over and eating barbecue does not need to pay the $5, but needs to pay $x, where x represents the money needed to pay for the chalet after the earnings are deducted.

So that goes to:

People going to chalet + eating barbecue = $15
People going to chalet, NOT eating = $10
People not going to chalet = $0

Ryan called and say I need to be at least 16 to get hired. WTF is that law for? Does that mean I'll have to wait till 22 December? That's freakin' gay....

Guess I'd have to find another job that accepts 15 year olds... Anyone's got job recommendations? I woke up too late today to call CK, and so I shall call tomorrow. If there is no more slot in CK or they too do not accept 15 year olds, recommend me jobs!

I'm not a fussy guy, but I do not want to work in fast food restaurants, nor as a promo person, I can't handle it lol. Best would be a job that teaches me skills or is interested. It'd be best if I could learn some new skills while we're at it! Damned, after typing all those, it seems s'if I'm super fussy....

Is there no more hope? Once again, damned my age.

Digressing, this is about the chalet problem which I totally forgot about when typing my last post.
As stated, we currently have only five people agreeing to sleep overnight. As you guys probably know how to count, S300 divided by 5 is a whopping $60! It's too much, and the chalet will probably be canceled, unless

Public Holidays sucks!

Alright. I'm home. After 4 hours of wandering around Orchard. 4 Calvin Klein stores. Nothing.

What happened you say? Apparently someone said that CK (Calvin Klein) had job openings, and so I asked Adrian to go with me. (Since the people are only going to call on ~~Thursday~~ Saturday) And so, we met up at 10.

We proceeded to go to Paragon, Orchard Road. Y'know, the place where epically expensive stuff are sold? Jewelery, suits, all them expensive luxuries? Yes, that's the Paragon (not the USA one).
So we went in the CK at the 2nd floor, and me being the super shy dude, let Adrian do the talking. We were full of hope. FULL OF HOPE.

"Hi, excuse me, we've heard that there are job vacancies in Calvin Klein."
"Nope, sorry"
"....."

We were hit like a whip. Yes. Was so hopeful, and confident we'd get a job in CK, due to a significant somebody who promised us so. But, we never gave up. We persisted. We thought to ourselves:

"There must be another one here, am I right. It should be just that shop that ain't hiring."

And so, we were back to our hopeful selves, and went into the posher (such a word) CK at the 3rd floor. We went in, and saw Tang Yang. She looked tortured (exaggeration), but we pushed on. Adrian asked again, with the exact same question and got back the exact same answer. Bitchslapped, that was how it felt like. Bitchslapped, indeed.

With stinging cheeks we left. We swore revenge about the certain unreliable source. Ok, maybe only I swore revenge. I began thinking of how to rip apa-- oh, where was I..

Ahh, I remember. But, we were resilient. We were never the type to give up. Oh boy, you should have seen us. We remembered that there were a few more CK chains in the area of Orchard. We were hopeful, yet again. We could not believe that they weren't hiring. We kept our faith, and trusted that someone.

We pushed on. We went to the CK at Ion Orchard. With hopeful faces, we went in. It was still Adrian who did the talking:

"Hi, excuse me, we've heard that there are job vacancies in Calvin Klein."
"I'm sorry..."

Our heart sank. Not again?!?! Alas, it wasn't as bad. Think of it as a scam by the earlier two stores.

"...we do not hire in the stores. You would need to call the HR (human resources)"
"Really?! Thanks!"

So that was it. The lady gave us a number. We were brimming with hope. Once out of the stall, I whipped out my handphone and Adrian proceeded to call.
1 try.
Twice.
It was all directed to the voicemail. We were devastated. We trudged on, to yet another CK store. This time, the Wisma branch. It was only there which we realized that the HR department did not work on public holidays, and coincidentally, today was Hari Raya. Bad thing was, the last two stores did not say whether there was any slots left, whereas the first two said they weren't hiring anymore. Which stores to believe? Which stores lied? Which stores were hiring? With that, our frustrated selves left CK stores....

After the incident with the CK stores, I still had a job backing - Ryan's, whereas Adrian did not. He was desperate. Very desperate indeed. Oh, and did I mention shagged? Turns out, he was at Bun's chalet the day before.
The day onwards was not as exciting for me, but Adrian did fill up two forms. Yes, two. Zara and some sports store. Hopefully, he'll get either one of them. As for me, I'll be patiently waiting for a new day to begin so I can

1. Receive Ryan's boss call, and
2. Call CK's HR for a job inquiry.

This is, well, another day wasted. Ah well, at least I went out instead of camping at home. As for the certain someone, prepare to get raped by me!11!!!1!shift+1!!1eleven!!

Since I was digging through the folders of my computer finding suitable pictures for the banner, I've stumbled upon some weird and/or hilarious unglam photos. Most of them were taken without the person's awareness, or shall we say all of them.

Whew. Changing the blogskin to meet my expectations took such a long time! What do you think of it now? Does it need a background? Can't think of any. Perhaps a specific colour? Or would plain white suffice?

Anyways, below is a summary of what I have done today. I'll only need one word.

Nothing.

It's kind of depressing to realized that a whole day was wasted just like that. I awoke at 12pm, and proceeded to, what, read manga? Yes, that sounds no life at all. I'm just waiting for my would-be employer to call me to start work. According to Ryan, they either call on Thursdays or Saturdays. It'd better be a frigging Thursday, or I'll literally be so bored that I'll start counting the amount of hair on my leg and/or arm. Contrary to popular belief, there is actually hair on my arms, but you need a strong light and good eyesight to be able to spot them (which i can). If you can, your eyesight is superb! (I see what I did thar)

Well, I super duper duper duper hope they will call tomorrow, and tell me to start work right away! (OK, slight exaggeration) Bless my soul, another day of boredom awaits me tomorrow.

I've been reading One Piece (Y'know, the manga with the rubber boy) for the whole of today (besides coding for blog), and only managed to get to chapter 242. 300 chapters more to go, i can't take it anymore! I better get the call tomorrow! (Sense the desperation in the tone?)

That is all, to those who are already working, SCREW YOU! (I kid, I kid.)

Well, back to manga/MSN, and I'll forever be eagerly awaiting the blasted phone call. (Now now, don't prank call me, and dash my hopes!)

[Solved] How to change highlighted colours?!

Frustrated. Badly. I've been trying to find out how to change the colour of the text and the background when you highlight, instead of the usual blue highlight with white text. So far, nothing worked. Urgh. Anyone who knows please leave a comment or a tag.

EDIT: Problem solved. How are you people likin' the new colours when you highlight the text?
For those who is interested in knowing, below is the set of codes you will need to put into the blogskin.

Just insert that quote into the area of the skin where you change the text settings. The "background" and "color" basically changes the highlighted colour and the text colour.

Suggestions of how to make the blog more aesthetically pleasing is welcome too. Yea, I know the text is too small, but I can't be bothered to/ don't know how to increase the size of the text without messing up my skin code.

Regarding the chalet...

This post is about the chalet.

Comment on this post or leave a message in the tagboard if you are going and sleeping overnight, so we can calculate the cost beforehand.

The date is scheduled to be from 21st to 23rd December, 2009. It would be SGD$390, unless, any of your parents have NTUC card membership (the one with the photo) and is willing to book the chalet first, then it would be SGD$300.

What we should be doing that day (if the chalet actually happens...):

21st December: I'd say cycling and whatnot in the afternoon. At around 6, we will have a barbecue (hopefully), but if it rains... i have no idea what to do, we ~~may~~ will be hungry...

22nd December: Wild Wild Wet! It should be for the whole day, an alternative would be Escape Theme Park. We could even go to Escape after Wild Wild Wet, if them people have money!

23rd December: Checkout! And? I have no idea what to do on that day, impromptu perhaps.

Back to blogging. Figured ~~not~~ to type in my usual "Caps in the first letter of the sentence" way because it looks so uber nice ~~fugly~~ in this blog. Yea, shoot me!

Why am i blogging now? Melissa started blogging, and I felt bored, so here I am, starting to blog again.

A little updates on this week's happenings, I'd guess.

O Levels ended on a positive note, and I'm sure that I would at least be able to go to a junior college and get my sweet juicy $500 bucks. $_$

Prom. Ahh, sweet, sweet prom. I'm not going to kid anyone here, so yes, the 65 bucks was well worth it. Very well worth it indeed! My 8megapixels cameraphone was not used at all, too lazy to whip it out. Besides, who needs to take pictures when like 99% of their friends brought one? Piccies @ facebook, it's flooded over thar!

I guess I'm tired of gaming. I mean, after the O Levels, you'd expect a hardcore gamer (before the O's) to game like it was his life, no? Wrong. No games amused me, no games kept me interested, and so that was it. My life, just turned horribly boring. No, really, all I would be doing at home would be MSN ~~(yea, habit thar, would REFUSE to type initials in lowercase)~~, Facebook, Twitter, websurfing, manga reading; the much needed things to keep the bored soul from jumping off a building, y'know?

Without gaming, what better way to keep someone unbored? Jobs, that's what. Mel offered me a job, but I'd fail in promo.... and so Lich took the job. So now, here I am, waiting for a call from my would-be supervisor on when to start work. Wrapping hampers/ manual labor, but meh, it should be fun (trying to be optimistic here).

So yea, that's the end of what's been happenin' in my life right now. It's going to be a fun holiday, and I am SO going to live life to the fullest. Someday, I might even get around to learning more photoshopping skills!

Now, let's move on to what I would hope to achieve during this epically intolerably yet-I-don't-want-it-to-end holiday.

Firstly, learn vectoring. What is vectoring?

Vector graphics is the use of geometrical primitives such as points, lines, curves, and shapes or polygon(s), which are all based on mathematical equations, to represent images in computer graphics.

Vector graphics formats are complementary to raster graphics, which is the representation of images as an array of pixels, as it is typically used for the representation of photographic images. There are instances when working with vector tools and formats is the best practice, and instances when working with raster tools and formats is the best practice. There are times when both formats come together. An understanding of the advantages and limitations of each technology and the relationship between them is most likely to result in efficient and effective use of tools.

Another thing I'd want to learn is ... photo manipulation, I guess. It's basically manipulating a picture (DUH?). As you can see, everything's revolved around photoshop. I have no idea, but photoshop has been super duper fun since I've started using it lol, and designing/manipulation/creating graphics is full of win.

That's all I'd guess, I'd actually update this blog with my life's happenings, UNLIKE my other blog.
